iPSpine Virtual Consortium Meeting- September 15th
On September 15th 2020, iPSpine partners came “virtually” together to share their most recent findings and reflect on the progression of the iPSpine project. The consortium was updated on the progress within the work packages as well as the plans for the upcoming months. The generation and characterization of iPS-notochordal cells and the smart biomaterials that are being developed to allow cells to flourish, has booked progress. The exchange of knowledge and constructive discussions of in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo models for safety and efficacy of the envisioned therapy, occurred with all flavors: science, ethics, policy, and regulation aspects. This meeting was the perfect basis for focused break-out sessions strengthening collaboration and output.
